Description of problem:
There is no documentation on how to access and use events stored by Tekton Results. This capability was added and enabled in Pipelines v1.16.
Workaround: None
Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):
- OpenShift Pipelines v1.16 or higher.
- Tekton Results enabled and configured to store events.
Steps to Reproduce
- Search the upstream Tekton documentation for Results and event storage
- Search the OpenShift Pipelines docs for Tekton Results events storage
Actual results:
No documentation exists.
Expected results:
Upstream documentation exists so the community is aware of the feature, is able to be ingested by search engines, and can be ingested and incorporated into third party LLMs.
Downstream documentation exists so customers know how to use it.
Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once): Always
Acceptance criteria:
- Upstream documents how to configure Results to store events, and access through the REST API or tkn client tools.
- Downstream documents how to configure Results to store events, and access them through the REST API or opc client tools.
