Epic Goal
- Enable installation of OpenShift 4 on VMware vSphere 8 for both UPI and IPI for all supported OpenShift topologies and providers.
Why is this important?
- VMware plans to release VMware vSphere 8 in Sept 2022, and VMware vSphere customers will want and expect OpenShift 4 to be supported on vSphere 8.
Acceptance Criteria
- OpenShift installation – both UPI and IPI – must complete successfully on VMware vSphere, VMC, and IBM Cloud VMware Solutions Dedicated).
- CI - MUST be running successfully with tests automated
- Release Technical Enablement - Provide necessary release enablement details and documents.
