      USER STORY:

As a SPLAT engineer, I want to propose the enablement of accelerated networking to the installer team so that customers can benefit from potential performance improvements at no additional costs.

      DESCRIPTION:

It was discussed with kdube@redhat.com and we'd like to propose have accelerated networking enabled by default in the installer for Azure. Let's talk to the installer team and discuss the best approach for it.

      To be defined:

      1. Given the default VM sizes used in workers, we can only have accelerated networking enabled by default on masters.
      2. We may want to have an install-config flag to allow users to disable it in masters.
      3. We may want to have an install-config option to enable it in workers as well, given the user customized the default workers size to something that supports accelerated networking.

      Required:

Have accelerated networking enabled on masters by default.

      Nice to have:

Have a flag to disable it.
Have options to enable it on workers as well.
Consider doing the implementation work ourselves.

      ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:

A story on the installer board with details about the proposed solution based on the constraints above, or the actual implementation merged.
