*USER STORY:*
As a SPLAT engineer running the onboarding process, I want to be familiar with the openshift-installer, spinning up clusters with different config in different cloud providers, and take notes of any opportunity considering the point of view of architecture, best practices, security and configuration, then we can share the relevant findings with installer Team.
*DESCRIPTION:*
The Cloud providers are constantly updating resources, recommendations and best practices. As SPLAT/OCP engineer I would like our customers to have a good baseline/reference of OCP deployment on the cloud provider chosen by him when running a quick installer (IPI). The research will consider points found when looking at the resources created on Azure, considering architecture, resource versions (Eg. instance and ELB type) and security.
The review will keep the focus on resources and services created on Azure in an IPI deployment using quick install (without customization).
The research is part of an individual study of openshift-installer on Azure when running the new team member onboarding, and the findings will be shared with the team to be validated.
*Required:*
The findings should be shared with the SPLAT Team to be evaluated and share opinions, and then will be shared with the Installer Team.
*Required:*
- Reference and details of each findings
*Nice to have:*
- Tests to validate the findings/issues
- Suggestions/proposal to improve
*ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:*
Create documentation with details of findings, some tests and recommendations based on provider documentation to help to understand each issue by the team.
*ENGINEERING DETAILS:*
- The document with findings is being created here.
