User Story
As an OpenShift administrator, I want to install OpenShift clusters using Assisted Installer and Agent-based Installer on VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 so that I can utilize these installation methods on the latest VMware platform.
Description
Enable and validate both Assisted Installer and Agent-based Installer (ABI) methods for VCF 9.0 deployments, ensuring full installation method coverage.
Acceptance Criteria
Assisted Installer Support
- [ ] Assisted Installer successfully deploys clusters on VCF 9.0
- [ ] Discovery ISO boots and detects VCF 9.0 environment correctly
- [ ] Host discovery and validation works on VCF 9.0 infrastructure
- [ ] Cluster installation completes through Assisted Installer UI
- [ ] Post-installation cluster validation passes
Agent-based Installer Support
- [ ] ABI successfully provisions clusters on VCF 9.0
- [ ] Agent ISO creation and deployment works on VCF 9.0
- [ ] Agent registration and cluster formation succeeds
- [ ] All ABI configuration options function on VCF 9.0
- [ ] Day-2 operations work correctly after ABI installation
Integration Testing
- [ ] Both installation methods work with VCF 9.0 networking
- [ ] Storage integration functions correctly for both methods
- [ ] VM requirements and configurations documented
