    • OpenShift SPLAT - Sprint 275

      User Story:
As an OpenShift Engineer I want to check required changes to new service type-loadBalancer NLB to use dual-stack subnets on CCM-AWS so users on OCP dual-stack environments can consume this feature on new services.

      Description:
This change had been shown in an internal engineering meeting today by enforcing the IP Address Type in the NLB create flow. The intention of this card is to document the prerequisites I did to create a service type-loadBalancer NLB in a patched CCM, such as:

      • Enalbe v6 blocks in VPC
      • Enable v6 block in public subnets used/discovered by the CCM
      • Patch on CCM when creating a service LB NLB

Note: this is for the very basic IPv6 support on NLBs. The overall solution need to check if it would met the customer needs. The intention of this task is to unblock the first step from the CCM-AWS codebase.

      Acceptance Criteria:

      • Spike the changes required in the CCM to support dual-stack
      • Describe the required changes on CCM
