OpenShift SPLAT - Sprint 254
USER STORY
As an OpenShift developer, I would like to enhance CI to have a new workflow for the vSphere multi vCenter feature so that I can make sure all logic works and prevent any future breakages.
DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this story is to create the new workflow in release repo for all presubmit (or other) jobs needed to support and maintain the vSphere multi vCenter feature. The installer repo at a minimum should have a presubmit job that is triggered when appropriate changes are made so that we can validate the multi vCenter feature against all new changes. These jobs will also be used to test the current development of the multi vcenter feature.
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
- Presubmit job runs for multi vcenter (IPI and UPI)
- Presubmit job exists for master and 4.17
- Jobs use env that allows for 2 vcenters
- Installs are successful for multi vCenter (UPI and IPI)
ENGINEERING DETAILS
Currently the idea is to have new jobs for multi vCenter IPI and UPI. These jobs should exist for at least changes made to installer. Currently multi vCenter will be leveraging alt infra so there is no need for a periodical. Currently it is not recommended to create periodicals for infra jobs.
