The user experience for Podman could be bolstered if we had a library in Podman that could provide the following APIs:
- What providers are supported by my OS
- Which of them is installed
- Does the user have permissions to run them (hyperv only?)
this function would be used immediately in podman system reset. It could also be used in init to provider a better error message or take an action.
