• Podman remote clients are not able to render progress bars
• The libpod-specific REST APIs do not supported streaming progress
• We need to formulate clear requirements for what we expect from the return data structures
• Ideally, local and remote Podmans can share the very same code for rendering progress bars which will require reworking how containers/image/copy does the rendering
• The goal of this spike is to formulate the requirements and elaborate on the necessary steps to complete the work
