To ensure that `docker compose` and other major consumers of Podman's Docker-compatible API can properly connect to registries requiring authentication, Podman must (optionally) write Docker-compatible auth JSON. This should be mandatory when using the Docker-compatible login API, but should also be exposed via a CLI option. This will require c/image changes to produce authentication files that are fully Docker-compatible.
