      We convert between EmbeddedScanComponent and ImageComponent in graphql forcing us to be able to deterministically determine the ID of ImageComponentV2.  This is not really necessary and a vestige of VM1.  We can provide everything we need using ImageComponentV2 directly which would allow us to no longer hash the component to get the ID.  This would be a significant savings on memory and speed.
