Problem:
The following namespaces appear as User Workloads on an fresh install of OCP4:
Policy: Mounting Sensitive Host Directories
Environment:
- OCP 4.19.7
- ACSCS 4.8.1
- secured cluster 4.8.2
operator-controller-controller-manager
catalogd-controller-manager
While this may be classified as core, we already captured similar namespaces as "Red Hat layered products" , e.g.:
openshift-controller-manager-operator
[Update 1/15/2026: the value "operator-controller-controller-manager" is a typo, and that NS value should not be added. For more info, see Slack thread, https://redhat-internal.slack.com/archives/C07EJJ8K8R5/p1768242342628059 ]
So we may as well add the two missing namespaces to "Red Hat layered products".
