In its current implementation, the declarative configuration framework does not offer a simple way of testing that no code addition was missed when adding a new type for the framework to manage.
It would be good to have at least the YAML conversions covered (ensure that no place was missed and that the new YAML object type can be parsed and transformed properly), as well as the database updaters.
