      Mini Content Journey

      Who is your target persona?

      System Administrator

What stage of the user journey are you targeting?

      Adopt

      Why is this content important?

This content helps system administrators to successfully integrate RHACS with GCR and GAR to enable container image scanning and signature verification. Clear instructions ensure secure configuration, reduce implementation time and minimise setup errors.

What is the main user goal aka job to be done?
As a system administrator, I want to configure RHACS integrations with Google Container Registry and Google Artifact Registry so that I can enable secure image scanning and vulnerability detection in accordance with corporate policy.

What high level steps does the user need to take to accomplish the goal?

      • Prepare authentication credentials using workload identity or service account keys.
      • Assign appropriate IAM roles for GCR or GAR.
      • In the RHACS portal, create a new integration with required registry details and authentication configuration.
      • Test and save the integration for active use in image scanning workflows.

(Optional) What is the general sentiment of users towards this goal?

Users expect integration with major cloud registries like GCR and GAR to be seamless, well-documented, and secure. They are often concerned about authentication setup and role-based access issues.
