Goal: Enhance user experience and improve navigation efficiency within RHACS by reorganizing the left-hand menu to prioritize the most frequently accessed use cases.

      User Story (Example):

As a security analyst, I want the RHACS left menu to prominently display the Dashboard, Vulnerabilities, Compliance, Violations, Network, Risk, and Configuration Management sections, so that I can quickly access the tools I use most often for monitoring and managing cluster security.

      Rationale:

Current RHACS navigation may not intuitively align with the primary workflows of many users. By reordering the left menu to feature the most common use cases at the top, we can significantly reduce the time and effort required for users to navigate to critical information and tools. This will lead to a more efficient and user-friendly experience.

      Key Activities:

      • Design New Menu Structure: Propose a revised left menu structure that prioritizes Dashboard, Vulnerabilities, Compliance, Violations, Network, Risk, and Configuration Management. Consider the logical flow and relationships between these sections.
      • Implement Menu Changes: Modify the RHACS frontend code to implement the new left menu structure.
      • Update Documentation: Revise user documentation, including screenshots and descriptions, to reflect the updated navigation.

      Acceptance Criteria:

      • The RHACS left-hand menu displays the following sections in a prominent order: Dashboard, Vulnerabilities, Compliance, Violations, Network, Risk, Configuration Management.
      • The order of these top-level items is logical and based on user data and common workflows.
      • All existing functionality remains accessible through the updated navigation.
      • The visual design and usability of the left menu are consistent with the rest of the RHACS interface.
      • Documentation accurately reflects the updated left menu.

      Out of Scope:

      • Introducing new menu items or significantly restructuring the information architecture beyond reordering existing top-level items.
      • Customization of the left menu by individual users in this phase.
      • Changes to the content or functionality within each of the menu sections.

This epic focuses specifically on the reordering of the left-hand menu to improve the accessibility of the most used features.
