As a prospective RHACS user on AWS, I want to be able to subscribe to a self-managed instance of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS) through the AWS Marketplace with hourly usage-based billing, so that I can easily procure and deploy RHACS without upfront commitments and pay only for the resources I consume.
Acceptance Criteria:
- AWS Marketplace Listing: A listing for "RHACS Self-Managed" is available on the AWS Marketplace.
- Hourly Metering: The AWS Marketplace listing utilizes hourly metering for billing based on a defined unit of vCPU Secured by RHACS.
- SKU Creation: A unique Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) is created and associated with this hourly metered offering in both Red Hat's internal systems and the AWS Marketplace.
- Telemetry Integration: RHACS self-managed instances deployed from the AWS Marketplace are configured to collect and report telemetry data relevant for hourly metering to a designated Red Hat service.
- Metering Data Accuracy: The telemetry data accurately reflects the hourly consumption based on the defined metering unit.
- AWS Integration: The telemetry reporting mechanism is seamlessly integrated with AWS Marketplace metering service.
- Subscription Management: Users can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the RHACS self-managed offering directly through the AWS Marketplace.
- Billing Transparency: Users can view their RHACS usage and associated costs through their AWS billing dashboard.
- Documentation: Clear and comprehensive documentation is provided on how to find, subscribe to, deploy, and manage the RHACS self-managed offering from the AWS Marketplace, including details on the hourly metering.
- Security: The telemetry data transmission is secure and adheres to Red Hat's data privacy policies.
