Overview:

Given that the primary focus is on the Operator and Helm charts, we should still:

• Test the situation for the manifest-based installer
• Implement any changes for the manifest-based installer to have a light-weight, robust logic that is good enough for our use-case.
• Make sure that the behavior is documented properly.
