Summarizing a complaint raised internally:
When looking manually through the collection of RPMs comprising RH SSO 7.1, there is no obvious package to install to get an SSO installation running.
- The RPM rh-sso7-1-2.jbcs.el7.x86_64.rpm is an SCL package which does not install the server
- The RPM rh-sso7-keycloak-server-2.5.5-2.Final_redhat_1.1.jbcs.el6.noarch.rpm works, but is non-obvious because it is branded as keycloak, and versioned after the keycloak components it provides.
There should be an RPM named and versioned after the product so that it is obvious by filename alone that installing it results in a fully functional installation of SSO.
The fully installed server environment self-identifies as "SSO 7.1" once running
