In the RH-SSO 7.6 Server Installation and Configuration Guide, it is mentioned the following:
2.1. Installation prerequisites
These prerequisites exist for installing the Red Hat Single Sign-On server:
* Can run on any operating system that runs Java
...
The "Can run on any operating system that runs Java" is quite an open-ended prerequisite on the Java to use and so it can lead to misinterpretation from customers as that any Java is OK to use and it will be supported, which is wrong. So this prerequisite should be updated and replaced by something like this:
* Install a supported Java as per the Red Hat Single Sign-On Supported Configurations
OR to something like this:
* Review the RH-SSO 7 supported configurations and ensure that you install a supported Java on your system
Please refer to the JBoss EAP docs [1][2] as for some examples on how EAP team deals with this in their documentation. We should do the same for RH-SSO 7 documentation as well.
