When you create an empty project, go to the Settings tab and go back to the Assets tab, the Asset tab shows "2" as the number of assets (even though it is 0). The issue is caused by the fact, that the counter also includes persistence.xml and deployment-descriptor.xml files.

The problem is that this makes the UI inconsistent - The asset lis is showing "Nothing Here", yet the Assets tab is showing "2" (see screenshot).
