Deselect and select the task back.

Steps to Reproduce:
Hide

Create Data Objects (in Process Designer).

Create them on canvas as well as in containers like sub-process, lane, etc..

Create User task.

Set Source/Target in Input/Output Assignments to these Data Objects.

Set also Name property to any String to save the assignments.

Close the Assignments and Save the process.

Close and open process back.

The issue is reproducible also without this step.

Open the Assignments.

Actual result

Source/Target properties are empty.

Expected result

Source/Target properties are set to previously set Data Objects.

Data Objects in Assignments disappear once the process is saved.

The issue affects also Kogito, but there is a need to close and open Assignments again after the step 6 from steps to reproduce.
