If you have a process variable and reference it in some Data IO’s as source or targets and later you decide to change the name of this variable, you have to update every place where it was used.
This is a JIRA to enhance this behavior and rename the variable references in process.

Currently if a process variable is renamed, its references are replaced with empty.
