Customer Name: Project Maurice
Business Impact:
Migration as a Service is being built by Red Hat Consulting as a December 10th, 2025 hard deliverable. OS-Migrate not supporting these two capabilities prevents us from fulfilling this contract deliverable.
Description:
Project Maurice contracted Red Hat Services to build a RHOSO (v18) private cloud across 3 physical locations using the new RHOSO "Campus HA" architecture.
Part of this services engagement was the development of a Migration-as-a-Service capability that leverages os-migrate behind the scenes of RHDH/AAP workflows.
OS-Migrate as of 12/03/2025 does not support specifying Cinder AZ selector or Cinder Volume Type selector which prevents it from creating storage in the Maurice cloud which requires explicit AZ and VolumeType callouts.
