We have made the decision to disable GPUs for the RHODS GA (there will no longer be a tech preview of it at launch).  The move to go straight from Beta to GA without having a LA release requires that the manual processes for deploying, monitoring and managing GPUs be replaced by automation.  Unfortunately the engineering teams responsible for GPU development are not able to complete these tasks by the time RHODS goes GA.  As a result, we will need to work through the following adjustments:

      • Remove references about GPUs from documentation.
      • Update the service definition to remove references to GPUs.
      • Update the RHODS code to remove the annotations from the CUDA build that causes the CUDA image to show up in the JupyterHub UI. - https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHODS-1651
      • Work with SBR and MT-SRE to adjust any support flows to these changes prior to launch.
