Problem Statement:
RHODS users need to be able to easily access all services that are available (UI integration with RHODS) and enabled (subscription activated & installed). For any enabled service, users need to be able to access the service. Additionally, users need to be able to access documentation for any available & enabled service so they can learn about the service, how to get started, and get info on common tasks.
See Epic brief with reqs: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kxs8NsS0FYshLRV0J9qfiKaF-uEBhag_kKNodbdtD0M/edit#heading=h.nhfgz5b7ej88
Requirements:
- P0: The system must enable users to view all available services (not already installed). This includes the following partner applications: Anaconda, Starburst, Seldon, IBM Watson Studio,
Pachyderm (TBD), Intel OpenVino. This also includes the following RH services: RHOSAK, RHOAM. - P0: The system must provide a method for accessing all installed/subscribed to services from a central page/dashboard. This includes all supported partner and RH services listed in req 1.
- P1:
The system must allow users to access any installed service without any additional login process. This assumes the user is already logged in to MODH. - P1: The system must provide options for users to search for available services.
- P0: The system must enable users to differentiate between installed services and available but not installed services.
- P0: The system must enable users to initiate a flow to purchase any available services.
- P1: The system must provide the ability to view all documentation for a single product/vendor.
- P1: The system must enable users to view doc only for 'enabled' services.
- P0: The system must enable users to access endpoint information for any installed services.
Considerations/questions:
- Can we categorize available services by type & enable filtering by type?
- Need to enable SSO to installed services in the same way as other OSD products.
