Description of problem:
- While labeling a pre-built read write many volume with "opendatahub.io/dashboard: 'true'" to make it visible through the AI dashboard, when creating a second workbench to reuse the same RWX PV, the PV isn't listed.
Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):
- OpenShift AI 2.8.1
- OpenShift 4.14
Steps to Reproduce
- Create the PVC beforehand in OpenShift in the namespace corresponding to the RHOAI project, of RWX type
- Add label to PVC: opendatahub.io/dashboard: 'true'
- Create a workbench 1 and use this PVC
- Create a second workbench and try to select the existing RWX PVC
Actual results:
- RWX PVC doesn't appear in the UI.
Expected results:
- Since PVC is RWX type, it should be possible to use it on multiple workbenches.
Reproducibility (Always/Intermittent/Only Once):
- Always
Build Details:
Workaround:
- Edit the notebook object of the second workbench and define the volumes section to point to the already existing RWX PVC
