      What

During a recent discussion, Guillaume Moutier pointed out that some data scientists may have a substantial number of projects they work on, potentially in the tens, contrary to our initial assumption of only 2 or 3 projects per individual. Moreover, if these individuals are heads of departments, the number of projects (whether created or shared with them) could be in the hundreds.

Therefore, we need to devise a method for users to mark their projects as favorites and enable sorting in a table view. Additionally, if we implement this feature, we must investigate how to display these favorited projects in project selectors on other UI pages.

      Why

Because users might have lots of projects in their view, we need a way for them to mark and quickly find their favorites.

      How

      • Explore design options and create UX mockups for them.
      • Review the designs with stakeholders including the UX team.

      Done

      • Design artifact that includes information about design iterations, feedback, final or latest designs, etc.
      • UX team, content, and stakeholder review and acceptance.
