      Deploy type

      OpenDataHub core version (eg. v1.6.0)

      Version

      nightly

      Current Behavior

After a model is deployed with a serving platform (multi-model), if the corresponding DSC component (modelmeshserving) gets disabled that model cannot be seen in the dashboard anymore. However, that model remains up and running.

      Dashboard shows:

      Expected Behavior

      • deployed models should remain visible in the Dashboard UI
      • buttons to deploy new model get disabled

      Steps To Reproduce

      1. install RHODS with ModelMesh enabled
      2. deploy and query a model with multi-model platform in a DS Project
      3. take note of the inference endpoint of the deployed model
      4. disable ModelMesh in the DSC object --> multi-model option gets disabled in "Dashboard > Settings > Cluster settings"
      5. go to the DS Project --> see the screenshot from issue description
      6. query the model using the inference endpoint from step 3. --> model responses successfylly
