As discussed in the RHOAIENG-3134 comments, framework selection is probably not used at all in the UI when deploying the model using single model serving. It may be only required to not break the controller based on the discussion but for KServer to function properly it seems to be not needed. This issue proposes to check this and possibly remove the dropdown from the UI to improve user experience.
