RHOAI now requires that all components and features support the use of self signed certificates that would be enabled in all cluster environments. This story is to document how to use a self signed cert in the MLOps pipeline. Documentation the process of the creation, mounting and use of self signed certificates.

A spike was completed on this issue link here. A way to test if the pipeline is running successfully with the self signed certs would be to deploy a minio instance on the same cluster with the custom certificate and make test request, guide to minio.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • Make the changes neceserry to for this feature to the MLOps pipeline, e2e-tests and shell tests
      • The MLOps pipeline README has documentation on how to add a self signed cert to pods running in the MLOps pipeline for use to use their own private services.
