When a host is registered using the Insights client, the registration completes successfully, and insights-client --status shows it is registered. The system appears in the Hybrid Cloud Console inventory. However, when navigating to the Vulnerability tab for that host, the UI indicates that the system is not connected to Lightspeed.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Register a host using the Insights client (insights-client --register).
- Verify the system appears in the Hybrid Cloud Console inventory.
- Navigate to Hybrid Cloud Console → Inventory.
- Click on the newly registered host.
- Go to the Vulnerability tab.
Actual Result:
The following message is displayed:
This system isn't connected to Lightspeed yet
To get started, activate the Lightspeed client for this system.
Expected Result:
Since the system is registered via the Insights client and is visible in Inventory, the Vulnerability tab should display vulnerability data rather than prompting to activate Lightspeed.
