Red Hat Insights - marking any CVE or any affected systems as resolved, it still reflects the same systems in the affected system of the particular CVE.

      Go to Hybrid Console --> Security --> Vulnerability --> CVEs --> Click on any CVE --> Edit the status of any affected system and change the status to Resolved.

       

      Now Verify if the system is still visible in the affected system list.

      Description of Problem

      When we are marking any CVE or any affected systems as resolved, it still reflects the same systems in the affected system of the particular CVE.

      How reproducible

      Always

      Steps to Reproduce

      Go to Hybrid Console --> Security --> Vulnerability --> CVEs --> Click on any CVE --> Edit the status of any affected system and change the status to Resolved.

       

      Now Verify if the system is still visible in the affected system list.

       

      Actual Behavior

      The actual Behavior is system is still present in the affected system, although the status of that system appears as resolved (Which we marked manually). 

      Expected Behavior

      If any CVE status of any particular system is marked as resolved manually then it should not appear in the affected system list of that CVE.
