Feature Overview
While some groups of users may want to use snapshots set to the day of their patching cycle, others may want to continue to get the latest updates of Red Hat content while also getting custom content.
Background and Strategic Fit
Content Templates allow users to do a couple of things: 1) Use content from custom repositories 2) Control updates to systems to use content at a specific point in time. Users that are interested in 1) but not 2) would have to manually update the template every day to receive new updates.
Goals
- Allow systems to be subscribed to a template and always get the latest Red Hat & Custom content available without regular user intervention
