As announced in https://groups.google.com/a/redhat.com/g/konflux-announce/c/dTLIGbV0540 , KONFLUX-9372 will introduce a new Conforma Policy (tentatively in the 1st week of September) to:

block disallowed OLM resource kinds, specifically NetworkPolicy manifests in operator bundles.

Action required for product teams is to remove any NetworkPolicy manifests from operator bundles (released or unreleased) targeting any OCP version.

We (RHDH Install Team) believe we should not be impacted by this, as the NetworkPolicies we have are in a ConfigMap that is used for the operands (plugin deps for the Orchestrator flavor). So there is no root NetworkPolicy manifest in the OLM bundle per se to be created as part of the Operator installation.

Anyway, the goal of this spike issue is to confirm whether we are impacted by this, maybe with the Konflux Conforma team (#forum-konflux-conforma).
If we are not impacted, we can close this task. If not, we would need to create follow-up tasks.
