      With this release, {product} integrates the Scorecard plugin, enabling users to visualize software quality and health metrics directly in the {product-short} software catalog. The plugin integrates as a tab on component detail pages, displaying scorecards with metrics from GitHub (open pull requests and issues) and Jira (open bugs). Teams can monitor component health at a glance without switching between multiple tools.

      Create a Scorecard PoC that implements the complete frontend UI:

      1. Create the scorecard workspace and frontend plugin in rhdh-plugins
      2. Create the catalog integration (tab on the details page)
      3. Show at least the two cards for GitHub open issues and Jira open bugs
        1. When possible use the github backend to get the number of open issues
        2. Use the jira proxy configuration from https://roadie.io/backstage/plugins/jira/ for the jira integration.
      4. Ship and test this PoC with the overlay repository on RHDH
      5. Add e2e if possible

       

      Create a Frontend Scorecard plugin that implements complete UI:

      1. Create the scorecard workspace under the rhdh-plugins.
      2. Create the catalog integration (tab on the details page).
      3. Integrating with Github and Jira plugin backends for metric data (Starting with dummy/mock data structures)
      4. Rendering scorecards for GitHub open PRs and Jira open bugs.
      5. Ship and test with the overlay repository on RHDH
      6. Add e2e if possible
