    • RHDHPLAN-184Provide a Quickstart plugin to provide a guided first time experience
    • 50% To Do, 0% In Progress, 50% Done

      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

This feature aims to create a quick start for the developer persona. In RHDH 1.7, the quickstart concept was introduced to guide the platforms engineers with the next steps after the RHDH installation. The developer quickstart will provide a similar experience to the developers with their next steps after login in RHDH for the first time.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

      • Show the quickstart to the developer at their first login.
      • Provide useful content to guide the new RHDH user to get started as quickly as possible.

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      1. As default, the developer quickstart should contain the following sections
        1. Bulk import information
        2. Catalog information
        3. Explore the self-service templates
        4. Learning paths
      2. Platform engineers should be able to override the default sections
      3. Platform engineers should be able to map an RBAC group to the quickstart.

      Documentation Considerations

      • Platform engineers should have the documentation on how to configure the quickstart content
      • User should have documentation on how to use the quickstart.
