RHDH Documentation 3273
Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)
More and more customers and red hat employees are depending on rhdh-local to help them correctly configure RHDH and experiment with it's features. Several customers have told us thet they are actively using rhdh-local to help them adopt RHDH. It's proved an important proving ground for experimentation as it allows the use of commodity hardware and with a much faster inner loop cycle (seconds per restart vs minutes on K8s/OpenShift).
this goal was discussed on the weekly PM/Eng sync call and the proposal had broad acceptance.
Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):
We should give RHDH-local Developer Preview (DP) status so that:
- issues raised will be read, analysed, and fixed in a timely manner
- must be supported on both podMan and Docker platforms
Out of Scope (Optional)
we don't expect rhdh-local to be perfect
we don't expect rhdh-local to work for everyone (or on ARM)
we don't expect rhdh-local to be well documented or have documentation on the usual docs website.
