Problem:
The TechDocs content is currently part of a Customizing RHDH guide. The assembly is called Configuring TechDocs and contains very little conceptual information about TechDocs in general. It is also confusing that Configuring TechDocs would be inside of the Customizing RHDH guide and not in the Configuring RHDH guide or other location. It is not intuitive for the user to look in the Customizing guide for TechDocs information, which is likely to impede findability.
We are currently expanding the TechDocs content to include additional topics, such as enabling / building / using add-ons. This requires a writer to create a new assembly that contains the TechDocs add-ons content. The current structure and lack of modularity makes it challenging for a writer to easily add TechDocs topics to the existing content and makes it challenging for a user to find and navigate the TechDocs content they want to read.
Solution:
Create a new title called TechDocs for Red Hat Developer Hub and populate it with the existing TechDocs Configuration assembly, the new TechDocs Add-ons assembly, and other future TechDocs content modules.
Place the new TechDocs title under the Configure and Customize category on the RHDH Docs splash page for better visibility, findability, and navigability of the TechDocs content.
