      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

Enable the modification of existing OAuth Auth providers, allowing the generation of OAuth Access/Identity tokens with non-default scopes in frontend plugins using the RHDH OAuth API libraries.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

      • Customize the behavior of OAuth providers to support token generation with scopes other than the default graph scope.
      • Allow frontend plugins to utilize the RHDH OAuth API libraries to generate tokens with any OAuth provider and scope.

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      • Ensure OAuth token generation supports various OAuth providers and custom scopes.
      • Maintain compatibility with existing OAuth API libraries in RHDH/Backstage.

      Customer Considerations (Optional)

None provided beyond enabling broader OAuth token generation functionality.

      Documentation Considerations

Update documentation to reflect the new ability to generate OAuth tokens with non-default scopes in frontend plugins using RHDH OAuth API libraries.
