We use open source backstage, not developer hub, and plan to use janus-idp open source plugins.

We will have one Backstage deployment providing visibility to all of our OpenShift clusters (9 clusters total). The open source plugins we are interested in such as, Spotify's Kubernetes plugin and Roadie's ArgoCD plugin, support viewing multiple clusters or multiple ArgoCD instances in Backstage.

We want to use the Kiali plugin, however it does not support viewing all Kiali instances across our clusters. We have a single tenant

Ideally, I should be able to tie one or many Kiali Applications to a Component within Backstage. I should be able to view the Graph for each of these Applications. I think the Spotify Kubernetes plugin has a good design for supporting multiple clusters. Kiali could show a list of clusters, the ability to select a cluster to view Applications for a Component, then the ability to view the Graph and other metrics for a selected Application.
