Chapter 1 - Authenticating with the Guest user

(based on: S1: Day 0: Basic Authentication)

      Description

      • The RHDH Admin configures RHDH without an auth provider to allow the team to explore and define the capabilities they want. Anybody can log in.

      Steps:

      1. Verify guest login can work.  dangerouslyAllowSignInWithoutUserInCatalog is enabled by default but it should not conflict with the guest login.
      • AI: [Docs] new procedure

To start exploring RHDH features, don’t worry about authentication: after the default installation, you can authenticate with the Guest user, and use all the application features.

      Prerequisites:

      • You installed RHDH by using default values. See Installing RHDH.

      Procedure

      • Go to the RHDH login page, and log in with the Guest user account.

      Verification

      • You can use all RHDH features.
