      As per https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHIDP-2716 the deprecated backend.auth.keys config will be replaced with backend.auth.externalAccess in 1.3. 
      The product docs need to be updated,  especially the configuration guide for the Operator: https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_developer_hub/1.2/html/getting_started_with_red_hat_developer_hub/ref-rhdh-supported-configs_rhdh-getting-started#proc-add-custom-app-config-file-ocp-operator_rhdh-getting-started
