= Marketplace for Red Hat and community plugins

The new Marketplace feature enables you to browse available Red Hat and Community plugins within RHDH. The initial version displays all plugins that ship with RHDH, and includes filtering options. Future updates will introduce additional features, such as installation directly from the frontend.

For more information about Marketplace, see <docs link>.

      • Users can filter available plugins in the catalog.
      • Users can view detailed information for a specific plugin, including its icon and README.md.
      • Users can view generic installation instructions, similar to those provided on operatorhub.io.

      Dependencies (internal and external)

      • Dependence on backend service providing plugin metadata.
      • Integration with frontend technologies for displaying and filtering plugins.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Provide functionality for filtering plugins in the catalog.
      • Display detailed information for a specific plugin, including icon and README.md.
      • Show generic installation instructions (e.g., container URL for plugin installation) similar to operatorhub.io.
