Background

there are a fair amount of unit tests in the golang version over at https://github.com/redhat-ai-dev/model-catalog-bridge
presumable a similar claude/cursor translation from golang to backstage/typescript is possible
need to research upstream what are the typescript equivalents for golang k8s fake clients

No QE or Doc dependencies

Using the output from ~~RHIDP-11757~~, add and successfully run translations of the golang unit tests, with the caveats of

REST flows between normalizer, location, and storage are no longer applicable since we are talking one address space
unclear if there are viable alternatives in typescript for the golang k8s "fake" implementations
