This focuses on the initial research and planning for performance testing of Backstage RBAC policies. The goal is to understand the capabilities of the Backstage API, how it interacts with security policies, and to define a clear scenario for performance testing. This work is based on the context from RHIDP-9867 and the associated design documentation.
Acceptance Criteria
- A clear and documented understanding of the Backstage API endpoints relevant to RBAC is achieved.
- The relationship between the Backstage API and the security policy is mapped out.
- A well-defined performance testing scenario is created and documented, outlining user roles, permissions, and expected behaviors for different API interactions.
