    • HAS Sprint 2267

      Task Description (Required)

Investigate AWS Spot instances for the team ROSA cluster. They should provide significant cost savings compared to regular nodes. They are roughly 45% cheaper than regular nodes, with the caveat that AWS can temporarily reclaim them at any time (roughly 5% on a given month).

      • Investigate feasibility of spot instances for ROSA cluster (both non-GPU and GPU nodes)
      • Implement spot instances for the cluster if feasible (via console.redhat.com)
