      Task Description (Required)

As raised during the Sprint 3270 retrospective today, we still have a number of issues being added during sprint planning that are not yet refined. This prevents us from having the full picture of the issues in the sprint, particularly if the issues end up being more complicated / in-depth once refined.

We should not add un-refined issues to the sprint when possible, and should take steps to avoid doing so.

      Some options to consider:

      • Performing an ad-hoc refinement of those issues before we formally start the sprint
      • Requiring justification for why a given unrefined issues needs to be added to a current sprint
      • Moving the issue refinement call to be before sprint planning (if possible)
