This issue is responsible for updating the documentation and script logic for configuring a pre-existing Pipelines/Tekton instance with our configuration scripts. You can find the current documentation here.

During our manual testing of the software templates and the installer we noticed inconsistencies/issues/assumptions being made, mostly for the pre-existing instance instructions. The scope of this issue is to read through the script instructions and ensure they work as intended for a pre-existing Pipelines/Tekton instance. The configuration scripts should allow for user input or environment variables to be set for any information that is required.

There should be no assumptions made about certain Service Accounts or Secrets or anything being present in the cluster/namespace prior to configuration, all information required should be provided by the user if it is needed.
