This issue was originally created at 2024-11-01T02:58:49.540Z as a Gitlab issue:

      1. Snippet of test failure
The loadable module `rtsx_pci_ms.ko` will be remove from rhel-9 via MR![5592](https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/src/kernel/centos-stream-9/-/merge_requests/5592).

Here is the reason explained by Desnes:
"This driver has been dropped upstream: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/d0f459259c13163336242fecca8468be8e543849

Patch of which is targeted to be merged on the USB/TBT v6.11 rebase MR: https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/src/kernel/centos-stream-9/-/merge_requests/5592/diffs?commit_id=2db3854d4e22feeff1f91e7d174f5ff0c39e2845

Also on the subject, I have sent a patch on ARK to delete the non-existent CONFIG_MEMSTICK_REALTEK_PCI option, since the driver does not exist there anymore: https://gitlab.com/cki-project/kernel-ark/-/merge_requests/3467?commit_id=5fcd0bddc082b0b0adff8be60e19d3c699b7d1f5"

              • Currently running kernel: 5.14.0-523.5592_1520780576.el9.x86_64 *****
