The problem is that IP addr -> hostname resolution fails:

ip address in question is part of DHCP lease. There's no DDNS, and team dealing with this told me:
"So our team handles the DNS infra and our best recommendation is we can create you a zone in infoblox where all your systems live and give you API access so you can add, modify, or delete records as you wish"
